RENAULT Trucks Defense participated, this year for the first time in the International Defence Exhibition IDEB in Bratislava.
In connection with the ongoing project “The Multipurpose Tactical Vehicle 4×4” for the Slovak Republic Armed Forces, in which RTD takes part, we presented SHERPA Light APC (Armored Personnel Carrier), a three-door armored troop transport vehicle that can accommodate up to ten fully equipped soldiers.
The SHERPA Light is a complete family of light tactical vehicles sharing the same 4×4 chassis but offering different versions that meet the entire range of military and internal security needs. All share the same driveline but are available with several types of wheelbase, cab, level of protection and weapon and equipment system, depending on the specific needs of the customer. We believe SHERPA Light to be an appropriate choice in the matter of modernization of the vehicle fleet of the Slovak Republic Armed Forces.
