With 1,802 exhibitors from 63 countries and 57,056 professional visitors, Eurosatory has unquestionably established itself as the world leadinginternational exhibition in the field of Land and Airland Defence and Security. Arquus, European leader of protected mobility, presented its innovations at the event.
In its vast exposition, Arquus presented new product ranges of proven vehicle types, such as SHERPA LIGHT, BASTION, DAGGER, HIGUARD or VAB MARK3 along with new names for its vehicles: TRAPPER, personnel carrier with a hidden B6 armor protection, TRIGGER, light tactical vehicle built on the same chassis or SABRE designed for special forces, open to provide firepower. The GRIFFON, a new development of 6x6 multi-role armored vehicle for the French Army under the program SCORPION mentioned below was displayed too. Selected visitors could see SCARABEE, a concept offering avant-garde innovations and achieving unrivaled performance.
Furthermore, Arquus presented integrated and innovative services which enable it to supply new generations of defense vehicles with optimal operational availability, remote diagnostics and cost-effective training based on virtual reality.
The French MoD also dominated the exhibition. It presented the Griffon and the Jaguar, the result of close military-industrial cooperation between the temporary joint venture (Groupement Momentané d’Entreprises) and Army Headquartres – the SCORPION Project of which Arquus is major player. The aim of the project is to renew the French Army vehicle fleet.
Without any doubt, Eurosatory 2018 shows the ongoing tendency to lighten armed forces. A wide offer of light armed wheeled vehicles proves growth of the sector of which Arquus is leader with its combat proven vehicles with more than fifty years of active duty in French Army operations and a worldwide reputation with customers on each continent.
